Windows 7 upgrade back to Vista

Is there how to info on going from Windows 7 upgrade back to Windows Vista? I want to go back to a virus free system. If I get to Vista then format, reinstall Vista then upgrade to Windows 7 again, I should have a clean system.

 

Basically, you are asking how to uninstall a Win7 upgrade, in order to rid your system of malware. Here is a MS tutorial;

Then reinstalling the upgrade, may get rid of the malware.

While I think this may work, I would personally first go through the malware removal steps, this will keep your data intact and would give you a wealth of experience in malware removal;

But of course the choice is yours. In my experience, WIN7 has effective built in security measures, and I would be surprised if you couldn't very effectively perform a complete clean-up.
