Windows 7 will not boot after Malware removal

Hi all,
Finally removed all Malware from my system, but now it has relegated my Windows 7 OS system to where it will not start up.

Window's Recovery Disk is not working (i.e. Start Up repair) and I do not wish to reimage my machine and lose my data.

I have tried running from Command Prompt sfc /scannow (which won't run, says Startup Repair needs to shut down computer) and chkdsk /f. Shows a lot of bad sectors on the disk (presumably damage from the Malware or the Malware removal).

What would be the best protocol to build a startup disk that can actually repair my system so it will boot up? Has anyone written a really good online Tutorial on this that you can recommend?

I have no idea where to start once I boot up with Ultimate Boot CD. I know I have a Windows 7 system that will not start up, will not start up repair.

It says you can not perform a repair Windows install unless you are booted into Windows 7. My laptop will not boot up, thus I cannot do a repair install.

Does anyone have a step by step troubleshoot I could go through?

 

Does anyone know if I tried to install Windows 8 over my non-booting Windows 7 if that would work, since I can't do a repair install of Windows 7 since my computer will not boot up?
