Windows 8.1: Driver Install Issue

Well Hello there all of you ..

FIrst of all I want to thank you guys for the work you are doing. about 2 years ago. I had an issue with my laptop that its dvd combo driver was not working and window got a virus. I came here, asked how to re install windows through usb, and these forums really helped me out, at that time it was way too difficult. So I trust these forums too much i guess ..

2nd, now i have another issue, I have windows 8.1 installed on my laptop i7 dell inspiron 5521, I have an xbox wireless controller to play with, which is not official but a copy so windows does not recognize it but detect it, i got it working after googling a bit, I bought a usb printer cannon mf4271 and tried to install its updates, there was a machine error in the printer, and mistakenly i thought that may be its because of drivers, i tried uninstalling and installing them a number of times but as it was the machine's error, it didnot help, however doing so, the printers windows 8.1 install automatically and the drivers I installed for xbox wireless controller disappeared well i tried connecting the printer, but windows did not detect it .. i also tried connecting the wireless controller but windows did not detect it either. so what i tried to do is uninstall them, I did, still there was xbox wireless controller driver in device manager which was hidden, i tried opening it .. tried to update it through the tweaked file but it didnt. So i un installed it from there too.
I hoped may be an unknown device uption comes in .. and it will help, but windows is not detecting the wireless reciever even as an unknown device at all, however to be specific, i use all the usb ports frequently so its not an issue with usb ports. I dont know what's the problem and i really need help, thank you
