    Hi guys
Im having a bear of a time upgrading my laptop from windows 7 (Professional 64bit) to Windows 8.1. My install stops at 93% every time with a message of Windows could not install.

The Laptop is a HP Probook 4430s,
    Processor Intel Core i5-2410mCPU@2.30ghz
    Mem-4096MB Ram

I have tried various fixes that Ive found on the web but nothing has helped. And now Im out of things to try.

    I started here:

Windows updates are current, ran the compatibility checker, Device manger is telling me all my drivers are up to date, uninstalled my antivirus.

I am absolutely at my wits end, I thought this would be a simple overwrite and its turned into a completely nightmare.

Any help you could give me would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    WR
