I'm not real knowledgable about computers, so any help would be appreciated. I have Windows 95/Windows Media 6.4 and when I try to download a video or a radio program it very seldom connects. Is there anything I can do to make it work? Thanks. Berean.

    Hi and Welcome.....

When you say downloading you mean live stream a song or video?

A couple of things that maybe happening the first and most likely one is that you don't have the correct codec's ( allows the decoding and coding of certain music formats ) the other one could be that WMP6.4 is not setting your connection speed correctly on auto... open up mediaplayer and click Tools > Optiions > Performance and click Choose Connection Speed and pick yours from the drop down box > Apply.

can you give us some info on what errors or messages WMP gives you, plus even a link to the music or video you are trying to connect to may give us a clue to what codec maybe needed.
