I downloaded from Bootdisc.com onto my desktop, then double-clicked like it said in the instructions and it copied it onto a floppy disc. I then put the floppy into the A drive and started the computer. The usual screen came up, saying F2 for setup in the lower corner, then a black screen saying something about an I/O error and remove disc and hit any key, which I did, and then it went back to saying about the command line.

I went into startup and it says it's booting from the floppy and the CD drive. Any more suggestions?

you could have a bad disk, try to redownload the disk and try a diffrent disk.
