Windows.ActiveDesktop and other Malware

Hay i have spend nearly all weekend going over your forums to try to purge all the adware/spyware from my desktop computer i have hit a hitch after doing ur procedure to get rid of SurfSideKick and Smitfraud. My Desktop is a Amd Athlon 2400 with 512mb Ram with two hard drives. As of now i can't boot the computer normally i can only boot it in safe mode. Saying that it hasn't been connected to the internet all weekend so i havn't done a panda scan. I have got the HijackThis log. Any help would be appreciated but i think im about to format the drive and start fresh. Also if u want me to post more info just tell me to.

Rename hijackthis.exe to analyse.exe.

Boot to Normal Mode, run HijackThis.

Give me the log from Normal Mode.

 

Thats one of the problems now i can't boot in normal mode i am only able to run in safe mode. I think ill just format the drive it seems like the simplest soultion for me now.

 

Before you do that; uninstall The Cleaner and follow the directions for Look2Me VX2 Removal.

Post the log from Look2MeDestroyer and a fresh Hijackthis log.

 

Yeah I have tried to run this removal procedure and my look2Me-Destroyer doesn't come back after 1 minute i have rebooted a couple of times and still nothing i have added the .ock file to the system32 folder and it still does not work.

Do what you think is best. However, a reformat may not be necessary.
