    Hi

On start up when I tap the F8 key to get into the windows advanced options menu eg to access safe mode etc, instead of that window i get the Boot Menu instead.

How do i adjust things so that when i tap F8 I can access the WAO menu?

    Regards and thanks

I thought the Boot Menu was the same as the WAO menu. It should have safe mode as an option. What version of Windows do you have?

If you mean that F8 brings up a list of boot devices (like CDROM, IDE 0, IDE 1, SATA 0, SATA 1, etc) then that is your motherboard's "one-time boot menu" where you can select a custom boot device and 'over-ride' the boot order you've set up in the BIOS. What you need to do when this menu comes up, is to highlight drive C: (or whatever your Windows main drive is), just highlight it, DO NOT PRESS ENTER YET!!! Then place a finger on the F8 key; DO NOT PRESS IT YET!!! Now, press Enter to start booting to the drive you selected and immediately after pressing Enter, start tapping the F8 key. This should bring up the Windows Menu with Safe Mode, etc.....
    :-D :major
    I hope this helps!
