Windows Antivirus Pro/HalfLemon Problem on my computer

Ok, here we go....

First, I've read the thread "READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide" and have tried to do every step listed. However, when I go to my Control Panel to get to the Add/Remove Programs, I get the following message:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel

When I try to do the step to clear out any old Java, I get the same message.

Same thing when I try to go to Norton.

After I download the CC Cleaner, it says Windows cannot open this file. It says:

To open this file, windows needs to know what program created it.
Then, it asks if I want to automatically or manually select from a list of
programs. Nothing happens.

Also, the checkbox for hidden files was unchecked already.

It won't let me do the misconfig step

And I cannot uninstall Malware because I cannot get into the Add/Remove program.


If I try to open anything other than the internet such as my FTP or a Photo editing program, it gives me the message:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel

I'm stuck and would appreciate any help. Thanks!
