Windows Automatic Logout after Login

each time i try to log into my windows xp it logs out again automaticly
and it annoyies me so much cause if i spent 3 mounth on my work and havent putted it on a usb stick , so im screwed in 2 weaks cause if i dont have the work done there then i might be fired ,


so please i need help quick

well ive tryed doing the
copy D:\i386\userinit.ex_ c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe
and
expand D:\i386\userinit.ex_ c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe

Didnt work ,

i tryed C:\windoes\system32> copy userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe
it copied 1 file
but still same problem eventhough i run in safe mode and pulled out my internet out

i cant run my computer networkly for some weird reason so i cant do anything there only from my recovery cd ,

i run windows xp
