Window's blue screen help please

I'm getting a blue screen error message that says DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I don't now why this is coming up i just widnow's repaired my computer about a couple weeks ago.
Any help would be appreciated as i'm getting this message a lot now days.

Here is a link to an article at Microsoft that discusses that error message-- at least I believe it refers to your error message. The problem may be simply that some program is trying to access memory it does not have permission to access.

There is a lot to the article so it may seem daunting. What I would do first is make sure you don't have any unwanted or unknown (to you) spyware, etc. on your hard drive. Perhaps visit the Malware Removal forum and read and ask questions there. Also, I would just start the computer in safe mode (F8 key during startup probably) and just let the computer run to see if the problem occurs in safe mode. If the computer runs ok in safe mode, maybe that would indicate a driver problem and you could post back to this forum and maybe somebody would know what to do then. A selective or interactive startup perhaps.

It may be that some circuit cards need to be reseated or as a last resort reload your operating system. Reloading the operating system would be one of the first things I might do, but it may be the last thing you would want to do, depending on if you have all the software and drivers you need and if you have any data that has to be saved.
