windows cannot open file

    i've been trying download a dvd program my tech gave me, so i can play dvd's, but i've been getting the message Windows Cannot Open this File .manifest . I have been trying to find something to help, to no avail. i have a Dell B110 with a windows xp operating system......help please.

    You are getting this message when doing what:
    • download the installer?
    • running the installer?
    • using the program?
    Also, what is the program you are trying to use?
