Was just looking at my Control Panel.(Windows XP Home SP3) and saw something I didn't recall having before.
    Windows CardSpace.
What is it and where is it? Does not show in Add/Remove or in Windows components.
My machine is fully functional with no problems, but curiousity made me want to know.

    Next question.
Would you know the KB number for it and if it is safe to delete?

    Hi

Likely came with .Net3.0 or 3.5 as its part of that package, but uninstalling .Net can make any 3rd party application based on .Net fail to work, but if you dont use it, then its API doesnt run and start the Windows CardSpace service, but you can disable its service in Services, although its set to manual by default.

Since the machine is behaving, and CardSpace isn't doing anything, guess I will leave well enough alone.( it doesn't eat very much, so it can stay.):-D
