Windows Defender / ATI Load Issues - Vista

Good day!

Two issues I'm having on my new computer on startup.

One: Every time I restart, the following message pops up...

"Application failed to initialize: 0x800106ba. A problem caused this program's service to stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search Help and Support for how to start a service manually."

Mind you, I have VISTA. I already checked THIS, which seems to be geared to XP. Any ideas?

Two: Every time I restart, the following message pops up...

"Could not load file or assembly 'MOM.Implementation, Version=2.0.3363.36872, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Its coming up as an ATI error, so I'm assuming this has to do with the graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series).

This could be related to .net Framework. You need them all and all their service packs. You can skip 1.0 and start with 1.1. Version 3.5 is the last. Links here - scroll: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100/en-us

 

I had problem on Vista 32bit, CPU 3.0 ghz, RAM 4GB, VGA ATI ASUS EAH 4870 DK 1G.
This was message when I start PC:

This is what I have done to solve it:
Remove all traces of you NET Frame work. Restart PC.
Download and install NET Frame work 3.5 from Microsoft. Restart PC.
Uninstall and remove all traces of your ATI softvare. Restart PC.
Go on this link: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
and find drivers wich suite your VGA and your OS, download them on your desktop and install drivers from there. Restart PC.
