Windows defender error

    Hi
    My WINDOWS DEFENDER program just recently , like 3 days ago , does allow the firewall to start in automatic as it did since the beginning. I now have to go to my Security Center in the control panel each time I start the machine or open up from the sleep mode. Can I get this back to normal.
