Is Windows Defender good enough all by itself for active protection?
I'm using Iobit's Malware Fighter Pro with it but I would like to know what the minimum best strategy would be for defense.I'm very careful with surfing btw.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The golden rule is only to have one realtime AV running. Running two at the same time, as you are currently doing, often leads to system instability. However it's a good idea to have a couple of others available for scanning on an on demand basis.

No one knows whether Defender, or any other AV will protect you from everything, which is why you need periodically to scan with others too.

Ok then I'll leave Windows Defender realtime by itself.Besides Malware Fighter Pro I have Malwarebytes and Emisoft free on demand scanners.

    Thanks for the help.
