Although I have accidentally deleted typed web addresses from the toolbar address box before (CCleaner), Windows always continued to save them until now. For some reason now the address box is always empty when I boot up each session. Same happening with the "run" facility. Have searched "Help and Support" and Google but as yet haven't found the answer to my problem. The answer is probably very simple, but haven't a clue where to look! Can someone help me? Using XP and Firefox browser.

Start Ccleaner click applications tab under Firefox uncheck internet history. Click windows tab under windows explorer uncheck Run (startup).
Open Firefox click tools\ options\ main and check your home page settings in the startup section, click privacy and check "remember visited pages..."

Although for privacy and security you may wish to rethink this practice. Do you use the bookmarks feature in firefox?
