    Hello Everyone,

I have a slightly old P4 IBM running Windows XP Home. After a fresh install from the CDs that came with it I noticed a number of devices not installed in device manager. After Right clicking and updating the drivers all of them installed as USB hubs. Any time a USB device is plugged into any USB port it shows up as an unknown device. This applies to printers, Flash drives, and any other device I could get my hands on. I found a KB article about this problem, but I did not have a Reg subkey called USB in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\. The plug and Play Service is running and I have the most recent chipset drivers installed. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you,
    Welic
