Windows DVD Region problems

    Hey, i know i should never have let the better half touch my machine but i have have and she has been changing the dvd region code left right and centre, i only have one left now but it wont change back to my region (2). It keeps giving me errors like i dont have permission etc... im the administrator tho!.... is there anyway I can make it multi region?

    Im on a packard bell easynote, with windows xp home sp2

    have you tried logging in as the administrator from safe mode and changing it?
