    I'm planning on replacing them with a PC using Windows Entertainment Center program.

    On my TIVOs they use a dial-up phone connection to "call home" and get current TV program schedules which they download and store on the TIVO (about two weeks worth).

    I would like to know how Windows Entertainment program does this. I understand how to use the Search for titles, but don't know what is being searched.

    Where does the Windows Entertainment Center program get TV programming schedules and how often is this data up-dated?
