Windows Error 7008000D

Hi all,

I recently had to replace the BIOS CMOS battery in my Toshiba Satellite L350 and since then I keep getting an error code 700800D when I try and update the following windows component:

Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Vista
(KB2719177)

I'm running Vista SP2

Have I missed something in the BIOS set-up?

I would appreciate any help, please.

Can you post the full 8-digit error code; '700800D' is not a valid error code.

P.S. after you replaced the battery, did you set date & time correctly?

Ok, I found the full error code '7008000D' in the subject.

I could not really find anything that explains that error code.

Hi,

I downloaded the KB2719177 update from the site you suggested and all went well. I've also downloaded the update readiness tool so I guess I'll just have to wait now for the next windows update to see I've any futher problems.

PS I did update the time and date within Bios when I replaced the battery.
