For the past month, every time I try to remove files via Windows Explorer, I get a few moved or deleted and then it crashes. Can anyone figure out why and/or tell me how to fix it?

I have WinXP, updated to SP3

    Thanks,
    Linda

What type of files? Having trouble with explorer and video files might have a solution of turning off media preview.

Sorry, really all kinds of files, but probably more times than not, graphics collected for Paint Shop Pro use, audio or video files. How would I turn off Media Preview?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is going to work for your problem. A problem rendering a video file is the only time I've had explorer crash on me. Try disabling media preview and if there is no change in your symptoms then turn it back on and report back so that someone else might offer you some help. BTW does this happen in different folders or are all the files usually in one large folder?
