Windows Explorer freezes when saving files

I have Windows XP. The problem I am having is that when I right click on a picture or video from the web & try to save as, my files come up to where I want to save the new file to, but then it freezes. When I check task manager, it says, Local Disk C not responding. If I leave it alone for 5 minutes, it begins responding again.

Also, when I right click start & choose Explorer, the same thing happens. I have checked for viruses, etc...I'm not finding anything. Any ideas?

This is the Hijack file I ran after following all the steps. Can someone please look & help? Once again, here are the problems....

1. When I open Windows Explorer to expand files & either open or save new ones, it freezes for about 5 minutes. In task manager, it says Local Disk C not responding.
