   hi
   
   i have a problem with my windows explorer
   the file menus, navigation buttons and the adress bar are all missing
   
   the attached image illustrates my dillema
   i understand i can use normal my computer link and then enable folder preview
   to get the same effect as windows explorer,
   but i'd like to get this issue resolved

   Welcome and lets try a few things:
   Go to control panel and double click on Folder Options ....second tab - View and first hit restore defaults ..... see what happens. You should have a bunch of the options checked .... post back.

   What is checked in the properties? Display full address in the ....
   Show hidden files and folders ...... etc.?
