I have searched several forums and tried over a dozen fixes for this problem and it still persists.
I'm sure I can safely rule out the first few replies as they seem to be common ones.
    So here are the facts:

I dont use IE, prefer firefox.
    Am running Windows 7
Have run Avast, Malwarebytes and the free AVG and none of them have helped.
The notification pops up about every 2 minutes.
It happens more than 50 times before it finally stops and the only way to prevent it is to leave my PC on 24/7. (not really an option)
Any restart and the problem starts again.
I can not upgrade to IE 9, it fails to completely install.
I can not disable or remove IE either.
Have had the problem for months.
Looking in Event Viewer i have 28 errors in the last hour.

    funkle17...Welcome to Major Geeks.:)

If you are going to post logs, please see this thread: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

We do not allow inline logs here since it messes up our search function.

Ahhh thank you! Sorry I should have known that :/

Ok will attach the CBS log I have from my scan, hopefully it means more to someone here than it does to me. I recognise the areas it's pin pointed but not sure what the problem is.
    Thanks

EDIT: scratch that, I checked the logs and they had something else since my last scan which stood out. Shall show that first....

    please see attachment>>

Have attached the SFCDetail.txt to make it easier to read. Hope it sheds some light. Was advised to do this on the Windows7 Forums.

Would a clean install of Windows fix it? Backup my hard drives then install Win7 again??
