Windows Explorer Problems

    In my happy download state, somewhere along the line I have managed to corrupt Windows Explorer. It closes and goes to the white Windows 2000 screen but only when I click on .mp3, .mpg files.
    I run spybot, spywareblaster, ewido, adware plus, superantispyware and nod32, so am pretty siure it is not anything malicious.
    Any help gratefully received.
