   Something happened and now my Windows Explorer Search Window is greyed out. I have tried a few solutions before posting but the most that happened was the window showing blank bars where the search fields are supposed to go. Can anyone assist?

   Post a picture. I have no such thing as a search window in Explorer so not sure what you lack.
