Windows File Protection

    I keep getting the message - "Windows File Protection. Files that are required to run Windows properly have been replaced by unrecognised versions. To maintain system stability Windows must restore the original version of these files. Insert your Windows XP Professional CD2 now.”
    I am cautious about doing this incase this is some malware and causes my PC to collapse. Any advice please.
