Windows Firewall Control 2.4 for XP???

This sounds like a handy program. It's marked 'Requires: Win7/Vista/XP ' however when I looked at the authors website it makes no mention of XP so perhaps MG has made an error? If not, please let me know. If so, are there any similar programs that are free, small, and work with XP. All I want to do is be able to do a one click blocking of the internet. I don't need a bloated firewall and using 'disable' by opening network connection takes too long. I have used ZoneAlarm Free in the past and it's 'block internet' from the tray icon was handy, but have not been happy with recent version of ZoneAlarm. Also have tested Outpost Firewall but had problems with it.

Yes seems we do need to change that reference to that app and thanks for pointing that out, what confused me a little is there are two applications with similar names.

Windows Firewall Control 2.4
Windows 7 Firewall Control 4.0

The latter one I know hs a 7 in the title but it did lead me to review the developers website who I know in Sphinx Software as I have used their firewall control on XP, they still have a small lite version of their Firewall Control for XP HERE

Worth a try as its free.

Also others to look at are Online Armour (you do need to be at SP3 for XP though) and Sygate, both are free and have XP support.

Just tested 'Firewall Control for XP' and found it easy to use and is exactly what I wanted.
