My question is this: Should my laptop be okay as it now stands - Even though I did a force shutdown during a frozen update attempt????

    DETAILS:

Today I woke up to an issue where Windows 7 Pro was froze on my laptop during an automatic updates from Shutdown last night. It was hung up on 72 of 121.

The laptop is 6 months old and I am in the middle of doing a fresh install of the OS and some software.

I read a few articles online on my desktop computer regarding remedies. Ultimately I force powered down the laptop and then went to this article:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2700567

The "Fix it" went fine and eventually I successfully manually finished 49 updates. The computer seems to be running fine.

One article said I should do a "Restore" to an earlier point. I had yet to turn on that feature so I have no restore points.

My question is this: Should the laptop be okay as it now stands - Even though I did a force shutdown during a frozen update attempt????

    Thanks,

If it exhibits no problems it needs no cures.
MS Update process is fairly robust, I would keep running it.
