I recently uninstalled several unused programs (games and such) and ever since have been getting a Windows Installer message "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the 'Update Manager' disk and click OK." The "Use Source:" box is pre-populated with a '1'. If I hit the OK or Cancel or Close buttons, the window keeps popping back up. The task manager will not let me kill it, either.
    Any suggestions????

Hmm.... good suggestion, but I cannot install the Installer Cleanup utility because the Windows installer is already in use and I can't make it go away.
    Any other suggestions??????
