   Hi all,
   
   I'm running Windows XP and I cannot install or uninstall any programs. When I try to I get the error 1001.
   
   I have repaired my XP install to no avail. Could someone point me in the right direction of either fixing it or obtaining a new installer program as its begining to drive me crazy.:cry

   Go to the link below and scroll down to # 94 on the left-hand side (Windows Installer Fix) and run it. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.
