Windows/ Linux Network

    So I have 3 pc's w/ win xp using windows network, I have one pc that will be running Ubuntu 6.10 is there anyway to connect to the pc running ubuntu to the windows network? If so how?

    What do you mean by connect? If you mean share files, google samba and thats what you need to start researching.

    I just need to know how I can connect to the internet through the router. What is the easiest way to do that?

    Just plug it in like a windows machine, shouldn't need any special configs if your network card is recongized by the linux os. Which it likely is already.
