Windows Live Error Message.

I really dislike the new Window's Live MSN messenger and I tried to uninstall the new one so that I can put on the old one.
However I got an error and it only gave me a couple of codes, which I don't understand.
The message was: We couldn't remove Windows Live ID sign-in Assistant, Messanger.
An unknown error occurred.
Error: 0x8007064c
Source: d3dx10-i386

What does this mean and how can I fix it? When I tried Googleing the error code it didn't come up with much. This computer is driving me nuts.

Sorry if this is considered double posting, but the Zap Messenger didn't remove Windows Live Essentials 2011.
I'm having a lot of problems with this, it's telling me that there is a courpted file but it isn't telling me where the file is and non of my scans are picking up anything. When I tired what Help Center told me to do it made no difference, I've tired repairing the program but that didn't help, uninstalling doesn't work either.
I really need some help here, I don't know whats going on with my computer and nothing that I'm doing is fixing it.

ppl how can I fix my problem.When I want to sign in to Msn it shows me error code 80040154 I already have my amsn but that is not helpful still I cant sign in to regular windows live messenger.HELPPPPPPP PLSSSSSSS
