Windows Live Mail Freezes

    i've got windows live mail on my laptop and everytime i open a mail (any Mail) or even at the main screen it Locks up like freezes my whole pc the only way to get my pc running again is a hard boot... i've got a i3 cpu and 3gig ram

    What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

    What Security applications do you have installed, Antivirus, anti-malware and Firewall etc? so if you disable those does Win Live Mail work ok?

    I'm using Windows 7 Professional, i'm running Avast Free Anti Virus 6.0.1000, i disabled it and disabled my windows firewall and it still does the same

    I am having the same problem with my laptop i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still freezes up any solutions?
