Windows Live Messenger Chat History Logs.

Hey, I was just wondering if microsoft store our chat logs or chat history on their servers.

i have just gone through microsoft terms and agreement, i havent found any thing related to this. i havent read it all. i just went through it.
i did a google/bing search on this topic and havent found an answer.

i mean if microsoft does store chat logs, its a right of the users to know what they are doing with our personal information or stuff.

so can you please answer this question.

well they do create a history chat log when you install it it asks you if u want to save all chat history for your access which is stored on your computer. ever time you log in your ip address is stored and recorded like any other server you log into. really nothing to worry about unless there is some illegal activity going on. that is why windows live has a option to report and block hope that helps
