Windows Live Messenger Error Help Needed Urgently!!!!!!!!

    When I try To Log In To Windows Live Messenger This Error Comes UP

    Error Code : 81000306

    I Click On TroubleShoot But It Still Doesnt Work

    Can Someone Tell Me How To Fix This Error.

    Do you have a software firewall? if so disable it to test MSN Live Messenger again, as that error is a connection to server error.

    if disabling your Firewall allows you to connect, search the firewalls access/deny area and make sure MSN Live Messenger is given Access or Allow rights to the internet.

    another option is to edit the registry with the below.....................

    Go to Start > Run and type/cut n paste regedit and hit enter

    Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\microsoft\MSNMessenger\Policies

    Then Delete the key contacts.msn.com

    Then re-start MSN Live Messenger again.. does it connect?
