well i've done all i can i tried getting the new windows live messenger beta(yah yah beta bla bla) dident work so i tried to go back and i did this before and it isint easy to uistall windows live programs there really stupid like that so i went with revo unistall as the normal unistall dosent work sooo it did its thing delete registry and left over files bla bla and i try to install an older version and it says u have a newer version of this program please get rid of it i go into add remove and nothing there go to revo nothing there got to program files and delte everything i can find ran ccleaner kcleaner restarted about 3 times lookd on good cant find anything so i turned here wow that was a long run on sentance

Hi

Try the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool and if you see Windows Live Messenger in the list of apps remove it, DO be very careful to only remove messenger as this tool is powerful.

What Windows version you using BTW?

thanks worked great does that program work for uninstalling any unwanted program or is it dangerous

It works for any program that uses the "windows installer" to install. Not all programs use that.
It is not to be used to uninstall (use add/remove programs to do that) but it is used to cleanup all the items that a poorly written program leaves behind after it has been uninstalled.
