    Dont think there is anything malicious or a conspiracy behind that, its a very early beta webpage that actually just came online in last day or so, admittidly they should have added compatibility for all broswers before making the page live... ( dont work in Opera which I use either )

    sad thing is its only USA retailers/prices at presenrt, so not good for us mate.

    Yes swapped my Hotmail and MSN accounts over last year to Live Mail, I find its better than the current Hotmail, a collegue in work has the plain old Hotmail and finds it not easy to do the same things I can with mail.

    also have the Live Desktop Mail app as well, not too fussed on that but its an early Beta and could change.

    If it's Google, you'll be waiting a while. :)

    Even GMail is still Beta for some strange reason.

    And it took them years to release a FireFox toolbar.


    McAdam, I'm using Live Mail too.

    I prefer it to Hotmail. Similar in appearance and functionality to GMail.

    'Beta' seems to be the buzzword lately,its like an excuse to release unfinished software ect,if it dont work explodes your comp 'well it is just Beta'

    I'm thinking of some Beta parachutes made from twine and dustbin bags,when the guys plummeting to earth looks up and see's the nice big Beta logo in the middle he'll think "Dam parachute maker!,oh! Wait a minute, its beta,my bad."

    Micro$$oft must be really concerned by Google, they seem to be copying everything they do.

    Their latest is Virtual Earth, their answer to Google Earth.

    Did you recieve an email from Mail Live or if you logoff and log back into Hotmail etc are you given an option to swap to Live Mail? ( completly forgot the process as it was last year )


    but also try this url http://mail.live.com

    I do know they are playing with the new Passport login system at present, so that could be causing some problems, however works ok for me in respect to logging in.

    What version of IE is it?

    I know some people have problems with LiveMail and IE7, but 6 should work fine.

    I've never had the problem you're experiencing.
