I like almost all of this email client.
However, when I click on replies or any item within Mail, the Chrome icon blinks for me to click on it to work. This extra step is on the web as are instructions but I don't understand them. Do you know how to fix this besides resetting which I tried?

I like Mail too but don't understand your post, can you point me to the instructions? I use Firefox rather than Chrome btw and don't get any odd behaviour when in Mail.

Maybe an example will help. Just when I saw your email, I clicked on it and the Chrome icon in the taskbar lit up. I clicked upon that Chrome browser icon and then could arrive at your message. I think one click should do it not two. I am always directed to the Chrome browser in order to open any mail and when I click the browser I then can open the email. I don't know if it is the browser or Mail. I will try with Edge, seeing it is already installed.

PS when I removed Chrome from the taskbar and clicked on your mail, Chrome reinstalled itself on te taskbar and began blinking as before. Perhaps this is an issue with Chrome. I don't know how to test it as I hate to uninstall and reinstall.
I guess the right way is to uninstall Chrome and see if Edge takes over as the only browser.

Can you do a voice search like Chrome? That saves a poor typist a lot of time.
    Sorry to commingle posts.

You need to download and install the Microsoft Mail and Calendar app from the Store.

The names are confusing. I am using the Windows 10 email client I believe. When I went to your site it costs and is 365 Outlook. I have MS Home and Student 2019.
What I am using is Windows Live Mail and Calendar. I Googled it and it directed me to the store which said I ave it installed. I already reset it. If I uninstall and reinstall I am afraid I will lose the contents of my folders.

I did not say Windows Live Mail, I said Microsoft Mail and Calendar and is a simple but very usable client. Get it from the Store. There is no such thing as Windows 10 Email Client. Mail and Calendar does not cost, it is free and is not dependent in any way on MS Office. If you install it your folders will be completely unaffected if you are using IMAP but would be if you have been using a POP3 account.

I am sorry to have confused the terms.
I have MS Mail and calendar installed.
One of my 3 accounts, Comcast mail, I think is pop 3 but I have nothing in it now.
I have Gmail, Comcast and Live. I have Mail in all my apps and believe it is part of Windows 10?
In order not to lose any folders should I install over the app or uninstall and reinstall?

I'm sure you will understand if I am just a little confused  What I'm trying to get across is that MS Mail and Calendar is a very, very nice client that does not need or interact with Office or Office 365 and does not require a browser to be opened when you are using it. It is also free. I strongly recommend you try it without first removing any other clients you have.

I will do just that and I thank you very much for your patience.
