Windows ME installation problem

Hi, I've been trying to install Windows back on my hard drive and I keep having trouble when it gets to between 10% to 30% because it gives me an error that says something like "error in the suWin Module" and then it shuts the installations process down. I've tried installing Windows 95, 98, and now ME and I have gotten the same error on everyone of them so i'm beginning to think it is a hardware problem. To try to fix it I have also changed drives and that had no effect. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if more information is need! Thanks. --S

Have you thought about doing a clean uninstall of your operating system and then installing only one operating system? Win ME?
