Windows Media Center LiveTV Display Error

I have a dual boot XP & W7 on a single partitioned hard drive. Dell Optiplex 745 small form factor w/ an ATI HD4350 graphics card and Westinghouse L1025NW (i think) monitor.

HDMI port is connected, screen resolution is set to 1680x1050 (approximately), and no VGA port is connected.

Windows Media Center InternetTV works without a hitch.
Flash videos in YouTube work so long as hardware acceleration is disabled.

But LiveTV or any recordedTV, including the sample "Landscapes" show will NOT display, but WILL play sound, in both Windows Media Center AND Windows Media Player...

Updated all drivers, downloaded various codecs to no avail, searched for a way to disable hardware acceleration for WMC - nothing helped...

Some research shows that my monitor is really not great in the compatibility realm ...and it looks like my graphics card is also crap - I played around with all sorts of settings in Catalyst Control Center ...

    Any advice or tips?

Let me know what other details you may need.

    The monitor's model # is L2610NW.

CCleaner gives the following information on its header

    MS Windows 7 32-bit SP1
Intel Pentium D CPU 3.40GHz, 8.0 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series.

Fixed the problem with the Media Center Decoder Utility @ http://www.whittakermoore.com/MCDU.exe

Set mine to ATI HD codec instead of microsoft... left Audio alone.

Then had a BSOD error with ATIHDMI.sys a little bit later
