Windows Media Player 10 - advice needed please

Wonder if anyone can help me.

I've just burnt a CD from music on my pc using WMP10, only when I play the CD on my stereo, it's only playing through one speaker - i'm assuming it's the burning that's causing this as opposed to the stereo. Obviously, I've done something wrong, but I don't know what. Can anyone advise please?

Thanks for the response. I'd already looked at that link, but couldn't see anything about recording on 'one channel' so to speak. I've successfully done CD's in the past, so perhaps it's a 'one off' that this particular CD hasn't gone right. :s

 

Yeah, I really didn't expect it to be a problem on your behalf. WMP makes it pretty easy. It could be a bad burn (how long have you had the CD-R drive??), could be bad media... I'd try again to see if the problem persists, then I would start trying different drives, different media, etc to see if you could isolate the problem. (ie if same media on a different machine works, it may be the drive, if different media works, it could be bad media, etc)

 

Actually, I now think it might be my CD player :cry Have played the disc again with no problem. That'll teach me for jumping to conclusions about my abilities, lol.
