Windows Media Player 11

    Can anyone suggest a remedy please. I have just downloaded and installed windows media player 11, went to stream my media and the media is all strange, ie, the colours are 'wishy washy', sort of like an 'Andy Warhol' painting, audio is fine but the video is not, I tried so many codecs without any success. Is there one particular codec pack that will solve this problem?
    I am experiencing the same problem when I play back the media in the following players: VLC, Windows Media Classic, KMPlayer, and Allplayer.:cry

    Hi

    Possibly, but do uninstall any codecs you have already installed then download and install Vista Codec Pack ( dont make too much out of its name as it works for XP too )

    Thanks, and I did everything which you said, I uninstalled all my other players just leaving WMP11 and all other codecs which might have been conflicting, I then installed this 'vista' codec pack which you recommended, and still the same problem??? what on earth can be wrong?? I am beside myself.:cry
