Windows Media Player, DARK movies

Hi Guys,

My movies in media player have become DARK, I have only installed Xvid codec, but it worked after I installed that, its just the last couple days my movies have gone real dark, mpeg, and wmv video files, if its an XVID I can use the xvid control panel to up the brightness, but I cant find a brightness control for media player itself and mpeg, wmv movies

 

In WMP Goto View --> Enhancments --> Video Settings

This should bring up the controls at the bottom and the brightness slider bar will be there.
