WMP wouldnt play DVD, and gave error message...

"Windows Media Player cannot plan this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated drive for your video card."

    ...see attached screenshot.

Used 'SlimDriver' free ver2.2, to scan and update Quadro NVS 140M.

Now WMP shows the DVD as playing, but no image... just the black screen.

    Ideas ?

Download the nvHotkey.dll from DLLme. Click the Download button, enter the two words in the Captcha screen, click submit and then the download link. Copy the file to C:\Windows\system32 and restart your computer. See if that solves the issue.

    FIXED THE ISSUE.
I can confirm that it is a DVD CSS protection issue. MediaPlayer being unable to decrypt the DVD protection.
Google around for "DVD43". The setup will install a driver that will successfully decrypt the DVD protection and will allow you to PLAY the DVD MOVIE ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Well that's an alternative solution. All I can say is that Microsoft Media Player is Broken!
