windows media player no sound

i got a question for anyone who can answer it i would greatly appreciate it my windows media player and some times the sound of my computer will skip i dont know if it has to do with ad-aware the computer is fairly new but the music will play out of kazaa but it wont play in windows media player. some times it shuts off then turns back on with the sound. thank you guys for all your help

 

Sounds like your audio drivers have been corrupted, or something like that. A similar thing happend to me about a month ago. I would get no sound no matter what.

What I did to fix the problem was to re-install the audio drivers from the CD that came with my sound card. If you have your CD I suggest doing that.
