windows media player

    hi ya I am trying to install wmp 11, for some reason yesterday it decided to come up with the following error message when I try to use it. "windows media player is not installed properly and must be re-installed. do you want to install it from the microsoft web site." so i re-installed it however when I try to launch it, it comes up with the same message. I checked the event viewer and did not find anything in application log however found the same 6 listings under system :

    Service 'WMPnetworksvp' did not start correctly because CoCreateInstance (WindowsMediaPlayer) encountered error 0x800703e6. if possible reinstall Windows Media Player

    I had the same thing... Finally I moved 11 one and installed again the old one - now no problems.
