    Hello
I used Flip software to play these files in the WMP and now I cannot remove anything from the WMP.
Is this b/c I still have some some files in Flip, my video cam's software?
Will they disappear from Windows media player when the Flip software is empty or am I on th wrong course in trying to remove them?
    Thank you

Can you define the word "Remove" please? I only ask because I assume that you are right clicking on this music and hitting the delete button. If this is the case, what type(if any) of window appears after you click the delete button? Does this item just stay they after hitting the delete button.

If you can, please put up a screen shot of this area you are trying to delete from.

I am sorry but my experience with burning etc is limited.
This what I see when I click videos which I have played with a disc through WMP.
I also have a pictures button which displays pictures but I can delete them.
These video files exist elsewhere in the pc like the Flip ware for my camera.
    Thank you
    Peter

Check out these two areas of my computer. The upper one is a screenshot of video library on my computer, and the bottom is a screenshot of my WMP library, try looking up both library areas on your computer and try to delete from both to see if you have the same issue. It appears that your Libraries are linked.

And I have to ask the same question I did before as you did not actually explain the process you did to determine that you couldn't delete them. Click on plodr's link and read Option 3, it explains in detail what I mean. And really, try each step listed if that doesn't work.

    Good link plodr.

Sorry to report that nothing has helped to delete the pictures or video files.
I hope someone else can help and thank you.

I thought it fair to report that I performed a system restore and Win Media Player seems to be running ok.
I have not the foggiest idea what could have occured but if someone else knows, please let me know.
    Thank you
