Hi there - hope someone can answer this for me - probably an easy question. I was cleaning up my old computer which is running Windows 2nd Ed. and I inadverdantly removed one of the basic fonts used by Windows for Title bars, menus etc. Can someone tell me the name of the default font(s) used by windows? Do not want to reinstall the 950+ fonts I got rid of to narrow it down. Thanks for your assist!!

Don't know the name, but try THIS to restore the default fonts.

    Most likely, you really only
use the core Windows fonts, such as Tahoma,Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana,Trebuchet, and MS Sans Serif.

Thanks to all of you for your generous help! Replies 2 & 3 got me back to almost normal - close enough that it is no longer bothersome. I will keep #1 reply handy in case I really want to get back to the original view. I appreciate all of you for taking the time to respond to my problem!
